What's happening in Term 3!?!?

WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL! 

WEEK 1, we had our Maori Language week and the word of the week was 'Apopo- Tomorrow'. 

Here is our 'Maori Language Week' Wall and some of the students' work! 

 This is our Maori Language Week Wall/Window Display! We've put our own design Tiki as well!! Well done Heroic Hawks! Ka pai! 

Every week this year, we will have a new Maori word of the week! Our first word was "Apopo- Tomorrow". Week 2's Maori word was "heihei- chicken". Everyone in Room 19 is practicing how to say the word in/out of class! Even Mr Yoon is practicing!! 

WEEK 2 is the "Commonwealth Games" week. This year, The Commonwealth game is being held at Glasgow, Scotland. Let's support the Kiwis here at home! We are going to do our writing, reading and arts based on the Commonwealth games and here are the students work!!! AWESOME!!
