Our visit from a Member of Parliament!

Today Mr Cam Calder came and talked to our class.  He is a member of parliament and he is with the National Party.  He was talking to us about leadership and here are some things that we took from his talk:

 follow your dreams (Darshika)

·     do your best (Kyle)

·     if you fail it doesn’t mean you give up.  You try again (Ayush)

·     if you don’t succeed the first time try again (Wairua)

·     dream BIG (Faith)

·     achieve your goal (Vishant)

·     learn from your mistakes (Ashalea)

·     never give up and try again (Sanford)

·     always believe in yourself (Amy) (Caleb)

·     experience things you have never tried before, like travel (Thomas)

·     you need to work hard to achieve your goals (Rose)

·     don’t talk yourself out of achieving….think positively (Sanford)

·     when you put your mind to something you can do it (Jamie)

·     reach for the stars (Darshika)

·     never think that you can’t do things and that your dreams can’t come true (Ayush)

·     dare yourself (Amy)

·     think positively (Rose)

·     keep trying to achieve your goals (Nikau)

·     you are never too young to achieve something (Viliami)

·     if you work hard and try then your dreams can become reality (Rose)
